Civil and Criminal Justice Cell (CCJC), National Law Institute University, Bhopal, is organizing the 2nd National Workshop–cum–Competition on Drafting and Pleading on 26th October & 27th October, 2024.

The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), was established under the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, Act No. 41 of 1997, enacted by the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature. NLIU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India.
About CCJC
The Civil and Criminal Justice Cell (CCJC) at NLIU Bhopal is a pioneering initiative aiming to generate scholarship and serve as an incubator for the advancement of civil and criminal laws. The CCJC promotes research, analysis, and dialogue on critical issues related to justice, working as a catalyst for reform.
About the Workshop
This two-day workshop will consist of 6 sessions focused on the essentials of legal drafting and pleading. Participants will be guided through the intricacies of drafting legal documents with clarity and precision. These sessions will be led by Dr. Aman Hingorani, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, an expert in advocacy, mediation, and arbitration. Dr. Hingorani has extensive experience as a practitioner, mediator, and academician.
About the Competition
The workshop will culminate in a Drafting Competition. Participants will be given a legal case problem and tasked with drafting a legal document based on the instructions provided during the workshop. The competition will assess participants' drafting skills, and the top three submissions will be rewarded with cash prizes and an internship opportunity under Dr. Hingorani for the winner and runners-up.

- 2nd Prize: INR 10,000/- + Internship
- 3rd Prize: INR 5,000/-
