Aim
The aim of the Academy is to establish a broad and complete foundation of knowledge of the Indian Laws and Rules governing the various aspects of Business and Commercial activity.
The Course will enable the students to expand their horizons and open up their mind
academically and culturally to meet the challenges of today’s globalizing world.
Course Structure:
IBCL course is a full -time, intensive programme, consisting of 45 contact hours over the three week period, generally taking the form of 36 hours of lectures and 9 hours of tutorials. Due to the intensive nature of the course, students are expected to spend full day on campus. Lectures will be delivered by GNLU Faculty or by any other
resource person who may be designated by the University to take lectures, each day for 5 working days a week. In addition to faculty-led classes, students are recommended to spend 2 – 3 hours per day for self -study.
Timetable will be issued at the beginning of the Course. The expected hours of a particular paper will be informed to registered students in advance.

3rd July to 22nd July 2017

Indian students: 31st May 2017; Foreign students: 5th June 2016.

Evaluation Scheme

Assessment for IBCL will be done through written examination and assignments.

Certification

All students will be provided with a certificate that will include their name, course
and grade.
Eligibility

Summer School is open to students pursuing graduate and post-graduate studies in
law and allied disciplines. The Academy reserves the right not to organize the course in case the number of responses is less than the minimum intake. It is further made
clear that the fee received will be returned with necessary deduction

Fee Structure*:
Indian Nationals: 17,000 INR
Foreign Nations: 500 USD
SAARC Nationals: 300 USD
*Fee structure is inclusive of tuition fee, boarding and accommodation (non -Air conditioned twin sharing rooms). However it does not include travel grants and related
expenses.
Participants may avail the facility of Air conditioned rooms at GNLU Guest House,
subject to availability of rooms, on additional payment. For tariff charges, refer
