Moot Court Society, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is organising its flagship event The 15th SLCU - CAM International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition 2025 scheduled to be conducted physically on campus from 28th February to 2nd March 2025. The moot proposition revolves around the subject matter of International Environmental Law.
About the Institution
School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, was founded and is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), under the parent University, CHRIST (Deemed to be University). SLCU was ranked among the best colleges in India in the Law category according to the NIRF Rankings declared by the Ministry of Education in 2023, and has become the most preferred educations institution in the city of Bengaluru.
About the Competition
School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is proud to announce its annual flagship event, the 15th SLCU-CAM International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition 2025. The flagship event is being conducted in association with the prestigious law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), as the title partner. The competition is scheduled to be held from 28th February 2025 to 2nd March 2025, conducted in offline mode.
Theme
The theme of the Moot is International Environment Law.
Eligibility
All law colleges/institutions/universities across the country recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to take part in the Competition. All participants must be currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Law, i.e., either 3-year or 5-year courses. Any number of teams per college/institution/university shall be allowed to participate. However, all members must be enrolled in the same college/institution/university.
Registration Fee
A base registration fee Rs. 3,500/- (inclusive of GST) is payable by all teams wishing to participate in the competition. Subsequently, an additional fee of Rs. 2,500/- (inclusive of GST) is payable only by the top twenty teams that qualify for the oral rounds based on their performance in the memorial qualification round.

- Winners - Rs.60,000/-
- Runners Up - Rs.40,000/-
- Best Speaker - Rs.10,000/-
- Best Memorial - Rs.10,000/-
- Best Researcher - Rs.10,000/-
Please note all Prize Money amounts are subject to Taxation vide GST that will be deducted at the source
