Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is organizing a Constitutional Lecture Series titled Kartavyam, in collaboration with leading National Law Universities and State Law Universities, with the aim of bringing together some of the finest legal minds of our time.

The Kartavyam lecture series is an intellectual odyssey that brings together the finest legal minds of our time. This distinguished forum will feature courtroom legends and eminent jurists, encompassing the vast spectrum of India's legal fraternity- from serving and former Justices who have shaped constitutional jurisprudence to doyens of the Bar whose advocacy has left an indelible mark on the nation's legal landscape

With each session, we aspire to delve into the evolving contours of constitutional interpretation, examining the delicate interplay between rights and duties, judicial dynamism, and the ever expanding frontiers of justice. Eligibility for Paper Submission

Submissions are open to:

  • Students from any recognized institution Academicians
  • Advocates Researchers

Papers should align with the theme of the lectures and reflect original thought, critical analysis, or fresh perspectives. We welcome submissions from individuals at all stages of their academic or professional journey, encouraging diverse viewpoints and interdisciplinary approaches. Co-authored papers are also permitted.

Incentives for Paper Submissions

Authors are invited to submit their papers to the कत म् Committee for review and selection. To recognize and reward outstanding contributions, students with top 100 contributions, after a rigorous evaluation process, will receive exclusive incentives, including:

  • 25 internships in the chambers of advocates practicing at the Supreme Court of India.
  • 50 internships in the chambers of advocates practicing at the High Court of Delhi. Publication.
  • 25 Internships at National Commissions Certificates of Appreciation acknowledging their excellence.

These incentives are designed to encourage academic excellence and provide valuable professional exposure, fostering the next generation of legal scholars and practitioners.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

A Google Form will be released to facilitate paper submissions from the participants. Detailed instructions regarding formatting and submission guidelines will be provided along with the form.

All submissions will be reviewed by team comprising of - Professors and eminent Advocates who will assess them based on originality, depth of analysis, and relevance to the theme. Following this evaluation, the top three papers will be selected at their discretion. The deadlines for submission and other relevant details will be communicated at the time of the form’s release. Participants are encouraged to adhere to the specified timelines to ensure their papers are considered for selection.
