About the University
Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur was established in 2018. The University is established for the advancement of learning, teaching, research, and diffusion of knowledge in the field of law.
About the DNLU SLJ
The DNLU Student Law Journal (DNLU SLJ) is a flagship journal of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, established with the objective of promoting academic research and fostering debate on contemporary legal issues. It is an annual, double-blind student-reviewed, and edited journal, focusing on an interdisciplinary approach towards legal writing. DNLU SLJ as a journal sparks the expression of thoughts and incentivises students through a healthy platform for representation. The journal provides opportunities for young brilliant minds to explore varied fields of law and its scope is sufficiently broad to encompass domestic and international legal and policy-related concerns and is not limited to any one area of law. The journal has the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court as ‘Patron-in-chief’ and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha as Patron.
About the Competition
DNLU-SLJ is honoured to have a collaboration with Seven Seas Partner LLP to organize a Blog Writing Competition. The vision and foresight of the esteemed organization inspire us to strive for excellence. We trust that the unparalleled expertise of Seven Seas Partner LLP will act as our guiding light in recognising and honouring the best talents of the country who shall be the pillars of the future of Space Law. It would be open to all the students enrolled in various universities and colleges across the country. MNLU’s CRASL is one of the leading centres in the Space Law sector and has contributed significantly to this multifaceted sector. Therefore, we are elated to have them as our Knowledge and Support Partner.

Space Law and its Development in Indian Scenario.
Sub-themes
- Analyzing the Role of recently released IN-SPACe Guidelines
- The growing intersection of Insolvency Laws and Space Laws in the Indian Market
- Artemis Accords and India
- Space Debris Management by Indian Companies
- Privacy Concerns in the Indian Space Sector
- Liability and Insurance claims in the Indian Space Sector
The above-mentioned sub-themes are only suggestive in nature. We encourage holistic research and welcome submissions on any relevant topic related to Space Law and its development in the Indian Paradigm. All submissions will go through a rigorous review process and editing by the Editorial Board.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the Participants is Rs. 200 for single authorship and Rs. 300 for co-authorship (up to 2 Authors).
Eligibility
Students enrolled in various UG/PG/PhD programs in various universities and colleges are welcome to participate in the Competition.
Awards
- Winner will be awarded with an amount of INR 5000/-.
- First runner-up will be awarded with an amount of INR 3000/-.
- Second runner-up will be awarded with an amount of INR 2000/-.
- The first three winners shall be awarded an opportunity to intern with Seven Seas Partners LLP, subject to the policy of the firm.
- Selected articles will be published on the DNLU-SLJ (Online) Platform.
- All participants shall be presented with a Certificate of Participation.

- 25 August 2024: Closure of Submissions and Registration Fee Payment
- 15 September 2024: Declaration of Results
