Research Cell, Delhi Metropolitan Education (IP University) | DME Noida, is organising a One-Day Multidisciplinary Workshop on Cyber Frauds and their Prevention which is scheduled on Saturday 12th December 2020 at 4 PM.
About the workshop
With the telecom revolution of the late 90s and in the advent of the twenty-first century, virtual reality became a very integral part of our lives. As the years passed by, the ever-growing dominance of our virtual lives was very subtly discernable in our real world.
Cyber world is like a gargantuan iceberg, whose tip is visible to us and cyber frauds are a part of this unchartered underbelly of the internet. Although there are a lot of laws, methods of redressal & punishments made available to us, yet the sheer nebulousness of these fraudulent and deceptive actions render us more vulnerable than ever. Prevention undeniably then becomes better than cure.
Research Cell, Delhi Metropolitan Education, NOIDA provides a wonderful opportunity to understand Cyber Frauds in a continuum before redressal and action of law is required. The workshop focuses on the prevention of cyber frauds and how to deal with them at an individual and personal level.
