Bhopal: 9th June 2021: Jagran Lakecity University (JLU), Bhopal, was conferred with the revered overall ‘Diamond’ rating by QS I-GAUGE, a comprehensive, independent and international rating system for India’s universities and colleges. JLU was rated amongst the top 25 universities in India and became the 1st and the only university in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to get this Diamond rating. QS I-GAUGE is a globally recognised university rating system, which has the expertise, experience, and reputation of the UK based (QS) Quacquarelli Symonds, along with deep local knowledge of luminaries from Indian education.
The QS I-GAUGE rating system evaluated the performance of Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal in different aspects, benchmarking them to the global higher education parameters and rated it in the prestigious ‘Diamond’ rating category.
The University has been awarded a ‘Platinum’ rating in Teaching & Learning, Employability, and Entrepreneurship and ‘Diamond’ rating in the quality of faculty and infrastructural facilities. The customized ‘Learning Management System’ (LMS) of JLU was also appreciated by the auditors.
Jagran Lakecity University was also the recipient of the QS I-Gauge E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitisation (E-Lead) Certification 2020, a testimony to its readiness for digital learning.
Shri Hari Mohan Gupta, Chancellor, Jagran Lakecity University, while receiving the honour at a graceful announcement ceremony observed, “For us, the best recognition always comes through the success stories of our students. The more lives we touch and enlighten with education of an international quality, the more rewarded we feel”. He further added, “I am delighted that QS I-GAUGE has truly recognised our efforts in this direction and placed us in the top 25 universities of India with this recognition.”
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Ashwin Fernandes, Regional Director for QS Quacquarelli Symonds in Middle East, North Africa & South Asia, and CEO for QS I∙GAUGE Rating System, Mr. Abhishek Mohan Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, JLU, Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Vice-Chancellor, JLU, and Dr. Vivek Khare, Registrar, JLU.
