HNLU Signs MoU with National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs (NACIN)
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs
In a significant step towards strengthening Institutional collaborations, Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs (N.A.C.I.N.) today. This partnership aims to foster mutual growth and development in the field of indirect taxation and customs laws.
The MoU signed between the University and N.A.C.I.N. sets out the goals of: -
- Joint organization of symposia, conferences, workshops, and other educational events.
- Exchange of information on developments in teaching methodologies, trainee development, and research activities.
- Co-sharing of training resources on various legal and procedural topics.
- Development of collaborative research and training programs.
- Mutual utilization of each other’s facilities and resources for educational purposes.
Prof. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of H.N.L.U. remarked,
“This MoU will mutually benefit H.N.L.U. and N.A.C.I.N. in the areas of capacity building, research and advocacy. There will be a mutual learning curve between the partner institutions in the crucial segments of GST, Customs and Narcotics.”
Mr. Shailender Kumar, Additional Director of N.A.C.I.N., expressed,
“It is a significant partnership for N.A.C.I.N. to get expertise on various legal processes from the premier University of H.N.L.U.”
The MoU was signed by Shri Shailendra Kumar, Additional Director of N.A.C.I.N., and Registrar I/C of HNLU, Dr.Vipan Kumar. The event also had the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Paramjit Jaswal, Distinguished Jurist Professor of H.N.L.U. & Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of SRM University, Sonepat; Shri Govind Miri, Senior Advocate at the High Court of Chhattisgarh; and Ms. Shivi Shangwan, Deputy Director, N.A.C.I.N., Deans, faculties and staff of HNLU.
