Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is organising an International Conference on Law and Social Transformation- ICLS 2024. Alliance School of Law is providing a forum for the discussion of well-researched papers through the International Conference on Law and Social Transformation-ICLS-2024. Faculty members, Judicial Officers, Advocates, Research Scholars, and Students, among others, are invited to submit quality research articles from the given areas.

About The Conference

The theme of the conference encompasses the intersection of law, social transformation, and sustainable development. It underscores the pivotal role of legal frameworks and innovation in driving societal change towards sustainable futures. Topics could include the evolution of legal systems to address the environment challenges, the role human rights in sustainable development, the promotion of green economies through legal mechanisms, and the empowerment of marginalized communities through legal advocacy of sustainability.

The conference can explore how legal innovation can effectively navigate and complex landscape of social transformation, fostering collaboration among legal experts, policymakers, activists, and scholars to pave the way for more equitable, resilient, and sustainable world. We at Alliance University, School of Law, have always strived to achieve excellence in Legal Research, hence, organizing the 3rd International Conference on Law and Social Transformation – ICLS-2024 under the main theme ‘The Contemplation of Law and Sustainable Development Goals’ on September 28, 2024, and this would be an annual endeavor in the years to come. This year the Conference will be held on 28th of September 2024.

Paper Specifications

Abstract: Not more than 300 words and a minimum of relevant 5 keywords

Paper: Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of one author. However, both authors need to register in the same link. In the case of co-authorship, at least one author must attend and present the paper. No Proxy presentations are allowed. Both author and co-author need to pay separately.

Maximum Length: 6000 words including title/cover page and references.

Margins: 1” on all sides

Regular Font: Times New Roman, 12 points, Line spacing 1.5 justified

Title Font: Times New Roman, 14 points, bold, Line spacing 1.5

Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10 with a spacing of 1.0

Citation: Bluebook 20th Edn.

Similarity: Should not exceed 15%

Abstract and full paper must be submitted to icls@alliance.edu.in

The research papers shall be subject to peer review and the selected papers will be published in an edited book form (Lex-Et-Mutatio, Volume IV), with an ISBN Number.
Two best research papers and one best presentation from each track will receive awards. However, papers not complying with the guidelines given above will not be accepted for publication.
