The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) of the prestigious Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is organizing the conference to commemorate the occasion of International Women’s Day. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is one of the five state universities of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi established on July 28 1998. It is a UGC-recognized and NAAC-accredited ‘A++’ Grade University. GGSIPU has been imparting professional education leading to Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral research degrees in the emerging fields of Management, Environmental Management, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, and Legal Studies, and Education.

The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) in collaboration with Viksit Bharat Cell of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is organizing the conference to commemorate the occasion of International Women’s Day. Contemporary discourses require improvised perspectives and approach. USLLS aims to organise a conference that can serve as a platform for academicians, scholars, students, civil society organisations etc. to discuss, deliberate and brainstorm feminist jurisprudence and the road ahead.
The conference shall be a one-day event involving paper presentations and intriguing discussions on Gender Perspectives of Viksit Bharat @ 2047. Join us in exploring gender perspectives in a developed India@2047. Discuss innovations, challenges, and policy-making for equality. Viksit Bharat Cell, GGS IP University invites students, research scholars, academicians, and all interested parties to contribute to this crucial dialogue by submitting research papers. Call For Paper
Legal practitioners, academicians, researchers, and students are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts for short, quality research papers/articles and an abstract for presentation at the Conference.
Submission Guidelines
An abstract with full paper for inclusion in the seminar proceedings must be submitted with a cover letter containing the name(s) of the author(s) and address, designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript, theme and contact information (email, phone, etc.). The Submissions will be made directly via e-mail to uslls.viksitbharatcell@gmail.com. Research Papers received for the inclusion in the seminar proceedings shall be subject to the approval of the Editorial Committee. Authors of the selected manuscripts will be required to register themselves for the conference on or before 06th March, 2024.
Maximum co-authorship of two is permitted. The manuscript should be on A4-sized paper in MS Word format and conform to the following guidelines:
- Word Limit: 3000-5000 words
- Research Paper structure shall be in Font‐Times New Roman, size‐12, Line spacing‐1.5 with Margin: 2.54 cm on all sides
- Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 with 1.0 line spacing.
- Texts and footnotes should conform to the Journal of the Indian Law Institute (JILI) citation format. Any form of plagiarism will lead to direct rejection.
The copyright of the manuscript finally presented shall vest jointly with the author(s) and USLLS.
Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process, and selected papers will be presented during the conference. This event serves as an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and contribute to shaping the discourse on gender perspectives in the context of a developed India by 2047.
Selected papers will be published in the edited book by illustrious Publication House.
