About the University

The ICFAI University, Jharkhand is a part of ICFAI Group which is well known for its quality of education and ethics. Consumer protection in India has evolved through the Consumer Protection Act 2019, replacing the outdated 1986 Act. It establishes the Central Consumer Protection Authority, introduces e-commerce regulations, and emphasizes mediation. Amid the rise of e-commerce, the government addresses digital marketplace concerns. This seminar seeks to promote consumer awareness, informed choices, and responsible consumption, connecting reforms, redressal, e-commerce, and quality standards enforcement. Ongoing efforts are vital to adapt to emerging challenges and uphold consumer rights.

Call for Papers

Research Papers/Articles and Case Studies from the legal fraternity are invited for presentation in the National Seminar. Communication of acceptance will be sent to authors for presentation. Co-authorship is allowed, but each author is required to register and pay the registration fee individually.

Mode

The seminar will be in Hybrid Mode. Authors are also allowed to present and participate in online mode also.
