Interview: Ajit Yadav | Founder of Leagles Educare

We recently got a chance to interview Ajit Yadav. Here’s the transcript of the Interview: Ajit Yadav

Legal Bites: Beyond legal expertise, what qualities do you believe are essential for building strong and lasting relationships with clients? How do you approach client communication and feedback?

Ajit Yadav: I believe building strong relationships with clients goes beyond just knowing the law. It's about being genuinely empathetic, trustworthy, and always available when they need you.

I make it a point to communicate clearly and regularly, ensuring my clients feel heard and understood.

Legal Bites: How has mentorship influenced your career path? What do you believe are the key qualities of an effective legal leader?

Ajit Yadav: Mentorship has been a crucial part of my journey. The guidance and wisdom I’ve received from my seniors have deeply shaped the lawyer I am today. For me, a true legal leader is someone who leads by example, upholds ethical values and remains committed to learning throughout their life. It’s also about giving back—nurturing others, fostering a spirit of collaboration, and creating an environment where everyone feels supported and empowered to grow.

Legal Bites: Given the increasing complexities of the legal system, what do you see as the future of law firms and the legal services industry? How can young lawyers prepare for these changes?

Ajit Yadav: The legal world is evolving rapidly, especially with technology, especially AI, transforming how we work. I see the future of law firms being driven by tech advancements and the need for specialization. For young lawyers, it's crucial to stay adaptable, embrace new technologies, and keep learning to stay ahead of the curve. In India, AI can streamline legal processes and improve access to justice, just as it's doing in the UK and the US.

Legal Bites: What are the biggest challenges to accessing justice in our legal system? How can lawyers contribute to improving access for marginalized communities?

Ajit Yadav: Accessing justice in our legal system can be incredibly challenging, especially for marginalized communities. High legal costs, complex procedures, and a lack of awareness often stand in the way of people getting the help they need.

As lawyers, we have a responsibility to bridge this gap. We can do this by offering pro bono services, simplifying legal processes, and engaging in community outreach to educate people about their rights. It’s about making the law more accessible and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has a fair chance at justice.

Legal Bites: How do you balance the demands of multiple clients and ensure effective communication within the firm to provide seamless service?

Ajit Yadav: Managing multiple clients involves staying organized and communicating clearly. I prioritize tasks by urgency, track deadlines closely, and keep clients updated on their cases so they’re always informed.

To ensure smooth operations, I maintain regular check-ins and open communication, which helps everyone stay aligned and work efficiently. It’s all about teamwork to make sure each client receives the attention and quality service they deserve.

Legal Bites: What strategies does your firm employ to attract new clients and expand its practice areas? How do you contribute to business development efforts?

Ajit Yadav: I attract new clients by focusing on building a strong reputation and staying active online. I also make sure to keep up with legal trends and expand my knowledge to offer valuable insights. For business development, I network actively, create engaging content, and always look for opportunities to connect with potential clients and address their needs effectively. It’s all about making meaningful connections and demonstrating how I can provide the support they need.

Legal Bites: What are the typical career paths within your firm? How does the firm support the professional development of its lawyers?

Ajit Yadav: Since I work independently, my career path is more self-driven. I focus on building my client base, deepening my expertise in specific legal areas, and exploring opportunities for collaboration with other professionals.

For my professional development, I make it a priority to continuously educate myself through legal seminars, stay up-to-date with the latest trends, and learn from every case I handle.

Legal Bites: To what extent do you believe platforms such as Legal Bites are beneficial for students and contribute to their learning and development?

Ajit Yadav: Platforms like Legal Bites are incredibly beneficial for students. They offer easy access to valuable resources, case studies, and expert insights, which are essential for their learning and development. It’s similar to what I aim to provide with Leagles Educare—accessible legal education that helps bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Legal Bites: Would you recommend platforms like Legal Bites to both law students and professionals, considering the valuable services they offer?

Ajit Yadav: Yes, I would recommend platforms like Legal Bites to both law students and professionals. They offer valuable content that supports continuous learning, just as I strive to do with Leagles Educare. It is important for both students
