Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune’s Moot Court Society is delighted to announce the forthcoming 12th Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights Law, scheduled from 21st - 23rd March 2024.

About the College
Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune founded in 1978, holds an "A+" accreditation from NAAC and is recognized nationally and international-y for its excellence in legal education. The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon’ble J. Y.V. Chandrachud, the then Chief Justice of India. The foundation stone of the College has been laid by Hon’ble J. R.C. Lahoti, the then Chief Justice of India. About the Competition
The 12th Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition on Human Rights Law pays tribute to the vision of (Late) Justice P.N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India. Since its inception in 2011, the competition has gained global recognition, providing students with opportunities to delve into the complexities of International Human Rights Law and enhance their advocacy skills.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bona-fide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate Law Course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized College/ Institution/ University.
Registration Fee
- Indian Teams: INR 5000.
- Other Teams: INR 6500.

Accommodation, Food & Travel
The registration fee covers both lodging and meals. Accommodation shall be available to all participating teams from 20.03.2024 - 24.03.2024¬

- Winners: INR 35,000 + Trophy.
- Runner Up: INR 20,000 + Trophy.
- Best Speaker: INR 5,000 + Trophy.
- Best Memorial: INR 10,000 + Trophy.
- Best Researcher: INR 5,000 + Trophy.
