About Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutes

Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutes (SSGI) is a private non-profit institution of higher education based in Punjab. The institute is located in Derabassi, Mohali and is a 10 minute drive away from Chandigarh. Established in 1972, it is one of the oldest educational institutions in Punjab. SSGI offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in the streams of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Dental, Pharmacy, Hospitality and Computer Applications. About 1st SSCL Inter College Moot Court Competition

Moot Court Competition is a venue where the analysis, drafting, presentation and arguing skills of an upcoming lawyer are put to test. It helps to objectively assess the facts, apply relevant principles of law and legislation and bring out reasons and arguments to justify one's stand. It helps in the professional growth that emerges out of such intellectual exercises. It brings together tomorrow's lawyers who can forge long lasting relationships in future. Such competitions give practical orientation to learning.

Expected Learning Outcome

• The students would be better prepared to face the challenges of the competitive world.
  
• The participating students will be exposed to the world of professionalism, work and legal ethics.
• The skills of advocacy will be honed.
• Their faculties of rational thinking, articulation and presentation of arguments will be enhanced. The students will use this channel to display the leadership and organizational qualities and realize their latent potential.
  
• The students would use their analytical mind to apply law to facts and differentiate facts.
