Jabalpur, India – August 25, 2024: Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, proudly concluded its 1st International Conference on the theme 'Gender Dimensions of Trade.' This landmark event, organized by the Centre for Studies in International Trade and International Investment Laws (CITIL) under the auspices of the WTO Chairs Programme, took place from August 24 to 25, 2024, at IIITDM, Jabalpur.

Valedictory Ceremony: Celebrating Success

The valedictory ceremony marked the culmination of the two-day conference, attracting over 250 participants nationwide. The event was graced by the Guest of Honour, Hon’ble Shri Justice Vivek Agarwal, Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. In his valedictory address, Justice Agarwal lauded the participants for their dedication to understanding the intricate connections between domestic legal systems and international trade regulations.

Justice Agarwal emphasized the critical role of international trade laws in shaping economic interests and social progress, particularly concerning sustainable development. The event report was presented by Mr. Utkarsh Kumar Mishra, Director of CITIL, followed by a brief address by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj K. Sinha, Vice Chancellor of DNLU.
