In recognition of the pivotal role youth play in nation-building and economic growth, World Youth Skills Day was celebrated on July 15, 2024, at the India International Centre. The event, organized by the World Academy of Higher Education and Development (W-AHEAD) and the National Institute of Skilling, saw Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of NAAC and NBA, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished Guests of Honour included Prof TG Sitharam, Chairman AICTE, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of AIU, and Er Pradeep Chaturvedi, Chairman (Delhi section) of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.

Keynote Address and Round Table Discussions

In his keynote address, Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe highlighted the Indian government's initiatives aimed at bridging the skill gap and empowering youth to meet the challenges of emerging technologies.
