About Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University, M.P.

The Faculty of Law was established in the year 2014 as part of Jagran Lakecity University (JLU), Bhopal, a private university established under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956. Faculty of Law aspires to forge pathways leading to a legal education that is not only more inclusive and progressive but also characterized by innovation and opportunity. It stands as a beacon of legal education, providing aspiring lawyers and legal scholars with the foundational tools, critical thinking skills, and ethical principles necessary to navigate the complex and ever-evolving world of jurisprudence.

About IV AUAP-JLU International Moot Court Competition, 2025

The IV AUAP-JLU International Moot Court Competition, 2025, which is the IX Edition of the JLU Moot Court Competition, is set to be organised by the Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University from the 28th February – 02nd March, 2025. The Moot Proposition of the Competition is based on Commercial and Arbitration Law.

This Competition serves as a platform for collaborative learning and offers participants an exceptional opportunity to showcase their legal acumen, enhance their advocacy skills, and gain priceless experience in presenting persuasive and compelling legal arguments. Legal luminaries from across the world will preside the Competition as judges for the Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final Rounds, and Grand Final Round in order to accentuate the best out of the participating teams. This time, a Grand Prize Pool of INR 2,10,000 has been set forth for various categories of Awards at the IV AUAP-JLU International Moot Court Competition, 2025.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bonafide on a regular basis in an Undergraduate/Postgraduate law course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized institution. A recognized institution shall be entitled to send only one team to the competition, whether from the Undergraduate or Postgraduate law course, or a mixed team.

Mode

The Competition shall be held in offline mode, at the campus of Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Fee Details

• Registration Fee: INR 7000 (inclusive of accommodation)
• (The registration fee shall be non-refundable and non-transferable in any circumstance.)
• For the registration process, all participants are mandated to upload a screenshot confirming the payment made via the Google form provided above.

• Best Team: INR 1,00,000
• Runner-Up Team: INR 50,000
• Best Memorial: INR 15,000
• Best Speaker (Male and Female): INR 15,000 each
• Best Researcher: INR 15,000

• 1st March 2025: Preliminary Rounds 1 & 2, Quarter Final Rounds, & Cultural Evening
